Who are the 44th Ward Democrats? We didn’t know until the week-end before March 17th, 2026 primaries, when a text message blast came out directing ward residents to vote for the official list endorsed by them. Here is what we found so far. This is a developing story, we will be posting here as we find out more about the mysterious organization with an obsolete Facebook page and a (new?) website that doesn’t explain the process or reason for their endorsements in the March 2026 primaries. We’ve learned a lot today listening to folks standing outside of the polling locations in the ward as well. More to come!
