Please note an important location change for the Community Commission for Public Safety and Accountability’s upcoming public meeting on Thursday, August 27.
The meeting was originally scheduled to take place at Morgan Park Academy and will now be held at Morgan Park High School, 1744 W. Pryor Ave., at 6:30 p.m.

New York University Policing Project MOU Discussion
Extended Public Comment: Superintendent Search Listening Session
As part of the Commission’s ongoing search for Chicago’s next Superintendent of Police, the meeting will include an extended public comment period dedicated to hearing directly from residents about what they want to see in CPD’s next leader.
Residents are encouraged to share their perspectives on the challenges the next Superintendent should be prepared to address, the qualities and experience they should bring to the role, and their priorities for the future of policing and public safety in Chicago.
