Superintendent Search Listening Sessions Continue on Chicago’s North Side
The Community Commission for Public Safety and Accountability (CCPSA) is continuing its citywide community listening sessions for the 2026 Chicago Police Superintendent Search.
We need as many people as possible to show up. Unraveled Press wrote about the state of the CCPSA. It’s a great read to set the context as to why this is so important right now. Share with your friends and neighbors who are not as involved with local organizing. Maybe realizing how precarious our situation is right now will help mobilize folks.
Chicagoans have already joined the Commission on the West and Southwest Sides to share their experiences with public safety and policing and, most importantly, what they want to see in the next leader of the Chicago Police Department.
Next up: Chicago’s North Side.
Join the Commission on
Wednesday, September 2 at 6:30 p.m.
at DePaul College Prep for the next community listening session.
Make it stand out
Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
